Grounds Maintenance
• Mow lawns and maintain turf areas within cemetery and crematorium grounds.
• Cleaning & leveling of Monuments and top dressing graves
• Perform whipper snipping, edging, pruning, spraying and general horticultural tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and order across all public and operational areas, including pathways, gardens, burial sites, buildings, sheds, Chapel and offices.
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment safely and effectively.
• Obey and comply with WHS procedures.

Cremation Duties
• Carry out cremation processes in accordance with legal, ethical, and procedural standards.
• Handle deceased persons respectfully and with discretion.
• Maintain and clean cremation equipment and related facilities.
• Accurately complete documentation and records relating to cremation services.
• Obey and comply with W.H & S procedures.

Grave Preparation and Machinery Operation
• Operate a backhoe and other machinery to dig and backfill graves.
• Ensure accurate placement and sizing of graves as per burial plans.
• Adhere to all safety and manual handling protocols during grave preparation.
• Assist with setting up and supporting burial and memorial services.
