Transport Administration Officer (210099286) Ormeau, Gold Coast, Australia

- $35.80 per hour inclusive of casual loading

- Monday to Friday 4.00am-12.00pm, plus AM shift loading
- Free and secured on site parking for all staff

Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, we have an opportunity available to join our close-knit team in Ormeau. The position is responsible for ensuring the effective and accurate management of transport administration and processing duties.
Objectives of this Role
- Daily debriefing of driver run sheets – recording and transferring required data to other reports
- Taking supplier and customer phone inquiries
- Booking jobs using our in house transport management system
- Processing carrier invoices for payment
- Dealing with carrier pay queries
- Raising Purchase Orders
- Give support managing shared transport email folder.
Skills Required
- Must possess strong Excel capabilities, with the necessary skills to produce reports, KPIs, Pivot tables, etc.
- Have a keen eye for detail
- Have strong general computer skills. Ability to work effortlessly with MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel
- Ability to analyse data in conjunction with responsible data processing tasks
- Possess a “can do attitude” with a team player approach
- Must be organised and methodical
Experience and Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Knowledge of transport industry
- Knowledge of relevant industry legislation
- Understanding of warehouse systems
