- Short day Friday only 6 hours
- $31.18 per hour plus loading for night shifts when rostered

We currently have an opportunity for a dynamic and driven Quality Control Officer who is interested in learning about Quality Control in plastic manufacturing.
The ideal candidate will ultimately demonstrate good record keeping skills and a desire to learn and develop with a reputable National company. Full training and support will be provided with a QA Manager being assigned as the candidates mentor with the potential for hte role to progress into permanent long term employment.
Duties of the role include, but not limited to:
- Perform visual inspections of products on the production floor to ensure compliance with standards
- Be familiar with company quality policy, product safety & quality objectives, quality procedures and work instructions.
- Conduct incoming material inspections in accordance with the inspection plan
- Review and monitoring of production paperwork to ensure compliance to the quality management system
- Maintain document control of quality management procedures and associated documents (achieve, update and issue quality documents as directed)
- Coordinate action on customer complaints after discussion with Process Operators and Production Manager
- Conduct in-house product inspection & testing
- Ensure all HACCP Plan verification activities are complete. Coordination of equipment calibration as per quality manual.
- Participate in the company’s environmental monitoring program
- Review and file incoming goods documentation
- Monitoring operational GMP compliance
- To communicate and promote Food Safety Culture in the organisation
- Other duties as directed
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or production experience
- Confident with computer systems
- High level data entry accuracy
- Open to learning new skills and possess a positive attitude.
