We are currently seeking a professional Secondary English Teacher to provide high-quality supply and general cover services across schools in Plymouth. Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, pre-planned English Language and Literature lessons for Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students.
• Provide versatile general cover for various subjects, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining high standards of classroom management.
• Cultivate a safe, supportive, and productive learning environment that adheres to individual school behavioural expectations.
• Provide detailed and constructive feedback to facilitate a seamless transition for the returning class teacher.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification.
• Demonstrate a robust understanding of the UK National Curriculum for secondary English.
• Exhibit exceptional adaptability and professional communication skills.
• The ability to reliably commute around Plymouth
• Possess a valid Enhanced DBS clearance on the Update Service, or a willingness to undergo the vetting process.
