General Cover Teacher (QTS) - Day-to-Day Supply - Castle Cary

Are you a qualified secondary teacher looking for total flexibility without taking work home? We are seeking reliable, dynamic General Cover Teachers to support a friendly, small secondary school in Castle Cary. This is a purely day-to-day role, giving you full control over your work-life balance—simply turn up, teach pre-planned lessons, and leave at the end of the school day.

Responsibilities

• Classroom Delivery: Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students stay on task across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Zero Planning & Marking: All lesson resources and instructions are provided for you in advance, allowing you to focus entirely on teaching.
• Subject Variety: Cover a range of subjects throughout the week in a close-knit, supportive school environment.
• Adaptability: Maintain a positive learning environment while transitioning between different subject areas as required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS is essential.
• Strong classroom management and adaptability across different subject areas.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
• Right to work in the UK.
