Job Title: Finisher / Polisher

Location: Sheffield

Salary: £14.43 - £14.97 + Shift Allowance

Hours: Rotating Shifts

• 6:00am – 2:00pm
• 2:00pm – 10:00pm
• Early finish on Fridays (6-hour shift)

Overview:

We are recruiting for a Finisher / Polisher to join a well-established manufacturing business in Sheffield. This role is ideal for someone with a strong manufacturing background who takes pride in producing high-quality finishes and working to precise standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Finishing and polishing metal components to a high standard
• Working with steel and other alloys to remove imperfections and achieve required finishes
• Using hand tools, polishing equipment, and machinery
• Inspecting parts to ensure they meet quality and specification standards
• Reading and working from engineering drawings where required
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
• Working effectively as part of a team to meet production targets

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a finishing, polishing, or manufacturing role
• Background within a manufacturing environment (essential)
• Experience working with steel (highly desirable)
• Good attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to work rotating shifts
• Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented
