I am currently recruiting for a Maintenance and Installation Technician for an exciting business based in Wrexham. As European leaders in playground manufacturing, this is the perfect opportunity to work for an innovative business that cares about making a difference. As a Maintenance and Installation Technician, you will be tasked with fault finding and conducting preventative maintenance, as well as installations of products.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Fault-finding and conducting mechanical and electrical maintenance on playground equipment.
- Installing equipment in a range of sites in and around the local area.
- Conduct inspections of equipment and maintain detailed records of these to ensure functional upkeep.
- Drive continuous improvement in relation to equipment maintenance.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to procure components required for equipment maintenance.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Experience working with play equipment is not essential but highly desirable.
- Health and Safety qualifications are desirable (IOSH/NEBOSH etc.).
- Physical fitness – ability to work at height.
- Installation experience is essential - this will be the bulk of day to day tasks alongside equipment maintenance.
