About the Company: 

We are delighted to partner with a well-established and respected educational institution.  An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Payroll & HR professional to join the organisation during a significant HR and payroll systems transformation project.

 

About the Role:

  • Support end-to-end payroll processing activities
  • Ensure payroll compliance with awards, legislation and statutory obligations
  • Lead payroll validation and audit activities
  • Lead and support the implementation of a new payroll and HR system
  • Provide payroll subject matter expertise throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage payroll system configuration and ensure legislative compliance
  • Act as a key escalation point for payroll and HR systems issues during transition

 

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience leading payroll system implementations or upgrades
  • Strong end-to-end payroll knowledge and understanding of payroll legislation
  • Experience working with large HRIS/payroll platforms
  • Strong experience in payroll testing, data migration and system integration
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and analytical capability
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills
