About the Company:
We are delighted to partner with a well-established and respected educational institution. An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Payroll & HR professional to join the organisation during a significant HR and payroll systems transformation project.
About the Role:
- Support end-to-end payroll processing activities
- Ensure payroll compliance with awards, legislation and statutory obligations
- Lead payroll validation and audit activities
- Lead and support the implementation of a new payroll and HR system
- Provide payroll subject matter expertise throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage payroll system configuration and ensure legislative compliance
- Act as a key escalation point for payroll and HR systems issues during transition
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience leading payroll system implementations or upgrades
- Strong end-to-end payroll knowledge and understanding of payroll legislation
- Experience working with large HRIS/payroll platforms
- Strong experience in payroll testing, data migration and system integration
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- High attention to detail and analytical capability
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills
