Salary: GBP45000 - GBP60000 per annum

Seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Planner to join a growing engineering function supporting a commercial widebody fleet (B747 / B777).
This is a pivotal role focused on ensuring maintenance activities are planned, coordinated, and executed efficiently, while maintaining full regulatory compliance and maximising aircraft availability.

Role:                            Aircraft Maintenance Planner
Location:                    South-west London.  Hybrid working

Salary:                         £45,000 – £60,000 DOE

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and continuously review maintenance forecasts to ensure cost and time efficiency
  • Plan and coordinate all base maintenance inputs, ensuring availability of spares and resources
  • Create detailed work packages and work orders using AMOS
  • Issue work scopes to Part 145 MROs, clearly defining requirements and expectations
  • Review and validate completed maintenance documentation, ensuring compliance and certification standards are met
  • Raise and manage NRC/MDRs within AMOS as required
  • Maintain and update aircraft, engine, airframe, and modification logbooks
  • Upload and manage all maintenance documentation within AMOS systems
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing aircraft records and reports
  • Collaborate closely with CAMO, Maintenance Control, Technical Services, Materials, and Operations teams
  • Assist in maintaining and improving the Aircraft Maintenance Programme (AMP)
  • Deputise for the Maintenance Planning/AMP Manager when required
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across planning processes and systems


Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in aircraft maintenance planning
  • Strong background in forecasting, scheduling, and maintenance coordination
  • Solid understanding of Critical Tasks, CDCCL, and AWL requirements
  • Proven experience within a Part M / CAMO environment
  • Good working knowledge of Part CAMO regulations and record-keeping requirements
  • Experience using AMOS (preferred)
  • Familiarity with MSG-3 Maintenance Task Analysis
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solution-focused approach
  • Knowledge of airline operations and commercial aviation environments
