My globally recognised client, close to Heathrow Airport, is now seeking a Technical Sales Manager to sell aircraft Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) services as well as asset solutions to new and existing customers.
Main responsibilities
· Responsible to fulfil individual sales targets
· Supports senior management in representing the company on the market
· Acts as interface to internal and external customers
· Duties and responsibilities
· Identify and execute sales strategies to target key customers
· Representing and promoting the services to external and internal customers, and obtain new business
· Calculation of Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) proposals in alignment with all involved stakeholders (internal & external)
· Negotiation of contracts
· Establish and maintain relationships within the regional MRO industry
· Customer visits and participation in marketing and customer events (e.g. Conferences, Exhibitions, etc.)
· Monitoring and analysis of competitors and industry trends
Ideal candidate profile
· University degree in Aviation, Business Management, Engineering or equivalent
· Significant experience in aviation and in working with customer-oriented attitude, specifically Sales
· Preferably experience in overhauls
· Self-motivated and commercially driven
· Ability to negotiate complex contracts and deal with Senior customer representatives, driving business and customer relationships forwards
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
· Ability to speak and negotiate in further languages (e.g. German) would be a distinct advantage
· Ability to work independently, and possess a high level of business and project management skills
· Excellent communications skills and able to work within a matrix environment
· Work experience in multicultural environment and/or abroad preferable
