Our client has an opportunity for a T400 Stress Engineer to join them on a contract until July 2026 with possible extension. You will be operating as a Stress Engineer within the Broughton Wing Plant Engineering Team (PET) working alongside the existing stress analysts.

Role: Stress Engineer
Location: Broughton, fully onsite
Hours: Nights, Monday to Thursday 8:45pm – 6:00am
Hourly Rate: Stress Approvers £46 - £52/hr Umbrella depending on experience + 30% shift uplift
Clearance: BPSS required before starting

What you’ll be doing:

• Perform static structural analysis on both composite and metallic structures.
• Analyse and validate Metallic, Composites / Hybrids structures at component level for Static strength, F&DT and produce relevant strength margins or reserve factors according to validated and applicable Airbus methods & sizing processes.
• Ability to provide stress analyses for the repair/acceptance of metallic, composites/hybrids
  structures.
• Ensure airworthiness requirements for aircraft structures.

Requirements:
Essential

• Ideally held T400 Concessions Approval previously
• Open to candidates who don’t hold an approval but have relevant stress and/or concessions experience.
• Experience with other aircrafts, military aircraft or product knowledge.
