Procurement Coordinator/Administrator (BBBH17895) Filton, England

Salary: GBP30 - GBP30 per hour

Our client has an opportunity for a Procurement Coordinator to join them on a contract until November 2026 with potential for extension. You will be supporting the procurement activities in the Design and Manufacturing Services project.

Role: Procurement Coordinator
Location: Filton, fully onsite
Hours: 35 per week
Clearance: BPSS required before starting
Hourly Rate: £30 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage Project tasks and Activities for Suppliers deployment of the new DDMS processes and Tools
  • Manage and monitor supplier performance using performance KPIs, dashboard, Project plans and specific
    action plans resulting from pilots and supplier activities, feedback, gap analyses and assessments. (Project
    plans management and reporting)
  • Support POSW owned activities where needed in supplier capacity and capability and performance to meet
    Project deployment objectives. We support clearly, however this is a task for POSW / POSW Sub-Contractors
  • Support POSW owned activities where needed- supplier industrial risks and propose mitigation actions We
    support clearly, however identification of risks is a task for POSW / POSW Sub-Contractors
  • Support and manage project risks and registers.
  • Facilitate and Participate Supplier pilots / tests, analysis, validation and drumbeat reviews.
  • Contribute to the resolution and development of solutions to support and enable supplier deployment
  • Maintain close communication and coordination with the Project and Procurement operational and
    commercial teams
  • Project activities, inclusive of KPIs/reports/briefings for monitoring and reporting.
  • Ensure team engagement to maintain motivation and maximize organization efficiency to deliver the project.


Requirements:

  • Experience working in Procurement, Supply Chain and Administration environments.
  • Project planning and supplier management experience.
  • Understanding of Logistics flows, ERP and MRP systems
  • Commercial Awareness
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and Quality.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with all functions/levels.
  • Understanding the stakeholders needs, clear and consistent messaging, utilizing technology, building a relationship, proactive problem-solving, effective negotiation, persuasive and driven.
  • Ability to integrate well in a friendly team.
  • Motivated, positive and proactive approach to work.
  • Some traveling may be required
