Our client has an opportunity for an Aircraft Technician to join them on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established organisation, providing class leading support to the MOD.
Role: Aircraft Technician
Location: Yeovilton, Somerset. However, the company may on occasion, ask you to deploy to other sites or support detachments at other operating locations.
Hours: Full Time
Salary: Discussed Upon Application
Clearance required: The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role

What you’ll be doing:

• Once authorised, you’ll be undertaking scheduled and corrective maintenance and completing all documentation iaw within current legislation and company procedures
• You’ll assist in the ground movement of aircraft, and be a key part of the flight-line operations, including:

• The preparation of aircraft for the upcoming days’ flying
• Conducting see-in and see-off procedures
• Being authorised to carry out fuel and oil replenishment on the aircraft

• Adhoc duties including driving, stores duties, housekeeping

Requirements:

• Aircraft Engineering experience
• Ability to demonstrate practical and theoretical standards required
• Driving license
• Recognised Aircraft apprenticeship, military experience or NVQ level 3 or equivalent
