Project Coordinator (BBBH15734) Oxfordshire, England
Our client has an opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join them on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for working closely with the programme and project managers to prepare comprehensive project plans, including resource requirements, budgets and timeframes to ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget and aligned with the quality standards.
This role will also manage the master project schedule and identify short term and long-term project conflicts and bottlenecks. The role also provides coordination support for a number of tasks such as schedule management, project data entry and analysis, administration duties such as maintaining project documentation, raising PO’s, handling finance queries.

What you’ll be doing:
- Work closely with programme managers, project managers and technical leads to coordinate, review and capture project requirements, deliverables and objectives
- Manage project master schedule, keeping the data up to date based on stakeholder input and identifying and addressing both short term and long term conflicts and bottlenecks as well as ensuring consistency with business resource forecast and individual project forecasts and reports
- Ensure project resource forecast is up to date, aligned with schedule and milestone forecast, and any changes are captured in a timely manner
- Ensure project finance report for each project is up to date and any changes are captured
- Ensure consistency between information captured in different tools and spreadsheets for each project
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information for multiple projects
- Work with programme managers to ensure business resource forecast is accurate in advance of monthly schedule reviews – spot, highlight and correct any inconsistencies, overloading and conflicts ahead of review
- Track project documentation status and ensure document release process is being followed
- Update records of project KPIs such as project EAC and milestone history
- Support the budget preparations and any PO requests
- Support the Project Managers, highlighting any issues, update project portfolio to highlight up to date project status
- Act as point of contact and ensure all team members are aware of the project status and priorities
- Work with colleagues to identify and implement opportunities to improve current processes
Requirements:
- Demonstrative experience as a project coordinator/analyst ideally in a highly regulated industry (such as Space, Aerospace, Automotive, Nuclear etc)
- Experience in project management & knowledge of PM tools and methodologies e.g. Gantt charts, resource levelling, cost rates, earned value
- Strong analytical and data analysis skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and proficient with MS Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
- Excellent MS Excel and MS Project skills
- Team player with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels
- Excellent time management and planning skills
- Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance
- Excellent multi-tasking ability
- Proactive approach
