Our client has an opportunity for a Quality Inspector to join them on a 12-month contract with possible extension.

Role: Quality Inspector
Location: Brize Norton – fully onsite
Hourly Rate: £29.44 per hour via an umbrella company, inside IR35
Hours: 35 per week
Clearance: Full SC required before starting

What you’ll be doing:

• Receipt and evaluation inspections of complex components and assemblies using pre-set inspection plans
• Ensure compliance with all associated quality procedures, airworthiness control plans, and quality management system requirements
• Using aerospace knowledge and expertise to inspect finished products, thereby ensuring conformance with MAA/FAA/EASA Part 145 specifications and established quality standards, including customer requirements
• Maintain material batch and manufacturer traceability information
• Issue Discrepancy Reports and assisting in the resolution of customer complaints and Supplier quality problems
• Document and record non-conformance process issues concerning business operations
• Represent the Quality Management Department during internal meetings, working committees and modification programs

Requirements:
 

• Quality Inspection experience
• Experience of receipt and evaluation of components
• Aviation experience
