SAP Project Manager (m,f,d)  – S/4 HANA/Release Upgrade          Zürich and Remote 50-60%

Project: For our international end client, we are looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering SAP S/4HANA release upgrade projects. This assignment offers end-to-end ownership of an ongoing SAP S/4HANA release upgrade within a complex international enterprise environment involving multiple business units and stakeholders. 

Tasks:

• Overall project management of the SAP S/4HANA release upgrade project.
• Lead and coordinate the project team throughout all phases of the release upgrade.
• Plan, monitor and drive project delivery, ensuring milestones and timelines are achieved.
• Prepare steering committee materials and present project status, risks and key decisions.
• Align with other projects and business departments to identify and manage dependencies.
• Communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage technical aspects of the release upgrade, including client concepts, freeze periods and dependencies with other projects and systems.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, decision logs, risk registers and steering committee documentation.

Required Skills & Experience:

• More than 10 years of SAP experience, including extensive project management experience delivering SAP S/4HANA release upgrade projects.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional project teams and manage stakeholders across business and IT.
• Strong understanding of the technical concepts involved in SAP S/4HANA release upgrades, including client concepts, freeze periods and project dependencies.
• Experience delivering SAP projects within complex enterprise environments involving multiple business units and stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and drive projects to successful delivery.

Languages:

• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• German an advantage (conversational Min. B2)
