Project: To support a major HR modernization initiative as part of a broader digital transformation, we are looking for an experienced SAP Payroll and Time Management Consultant. 

Tasks:

  • Actively contribute to the program and lead the Operational Readiness stream
  • Define business requirements in close collaboration with stakeholders across HR, IT, finance, and third parties
  • Analyse current payroll and time processes and identify areas for optimisation
  • Configure and maintain SAP Payroll and Time Management modules in line with business needs
  • Implement and refine payroll and time management policies and controls to ensure compliance
  • Conduct testing, troubleshoot issues, and propose technical solutions or improvements
  • Deliver end-user training and provide post-implementation support
  • Support the transition into operations and help establish the long-term support model
  • Stay informed on SAP Payroll and Time Management updates and best practices
  • Manage SAP OSS notes and apply relevant system updates
  • Ensure seamless integration with related SAP modules (e.g., HR, finance, procurement)
  • Contribute to system upgrades, enhancements, migrations, and related projects

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Proven experience (6+ years) as an SAP Payroll and Time Management Consultant
  • Strong understanding of SAP Payroll configuration (schema, rules, wage types, PCRs)
  • Experience with Swiss payroll is highly advantageous
  • Skilled in using Payroll Control Centre (PCC) and managing system compliance
  • Experience delivering full lifecycle SAP PY/PT implementations
  • Ability to analyse and solve complex technical and process issues
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • SAP certifications in Payroll and Time Management preferred
  • Familiarity with SuccessFactors or other SAP HR modules is a plus
  • Knowledge of ABAP debugging is beneficial
  • Experience with external system integrations (e.g., time/attendance tools)
  • Fluent in both German and English
