An Exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations / Logistics Coordinator to join the operation team on a full time basis.
The Operations team provide an essential point of contact to the customer base managing all aspects of the order processing, transport planning right through to invoicing, making sure clients are fully informed from initial call to confirmation of delivery .
Under the instruction of the Senior Operations Coordinator and Project Manager, The successful person will take responsibility for the day to day activities of the operations department and a summary of duties are:
- Order processing
- Transport planning
- Liaising with clients & suppliers
- Load, unload and movement of mobile machinery
- Traffic flow management
- Updating supplier database
- Investigating and planning the most appropriate route for wide load movements in the UK and Ireland.
- Submitting requests and liaising with relevant Authorities
- Booking of cargo and subcontractors on and off site
You will be positive ambition and driven, previous experience within the transport and logistics industry is a must to be considered.
