About the role
In this position, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing semantic data models, building interactive dashboards, and applying advanced DAX calculations. You will also use Python to automate workflows, prepare complex datasets, and support data engineering activities. Working closely with stakeholders and technical teams, you will deliver high-quality insights that drive decision-making across the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and optimizing Power BI semantic data models (star and snowflake schemas).

  • Creating interactive dashboards with advanced DAX and Power Query.

  • Applying governance controls and row-level security (RLS).

  • Using Python (pandas, PySpark, APIs) for data extraction, transformation, and automation.

  • Collaborating with data engineering teams to maintain ETL/ELT scripts.

  • Connecting to diverse data sources such as SQL, Azure Synapse, Databricks, and APIs.

About you

  • 8+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer or BI Engineer.

  • Strong expertise in data modeling and advanced DAX.

  • 3+ years of hands-on Python development (pandas, NumPy, PySpark, APIs).

  • Experience integrating Power BI with SQL and cloud-based data sources.

  • Knowledge of SQL for querying and transformations.

  • Skilled in performance tuning for Power BI datasets and Python pipelines.
