Java DevOps Engineer | High-Volume Systems (BBBH17714) Amsterdam, Netherlands

About the role
As a DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for the full development lifecycle: from refining user stories to building, testing, deploying and monitoring solutions in production. You’ll design reusable components, solve incidents, and coach less experienced team members. The environment is fast-paced and highly collaborative, giving you the opportunity to continuously learn and grow while working on complex systems.

About you

  • Strong experience with Java 11+ and Spring Boot (API development)

  • Knowledge of BDD, DDD and monitoring tools (ELK, Grafana)

  • Hands-on experience with Kafka and SQL

  • Experience working in agile DevOps teams within complex environments

  • Willingness to participate in on-call support rotation (once every 1–2 months)

Nice to have

  • Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure Pipelines

  • Familiarity with Kubernetes or Openshift

  • Knowledge of Scala, Akka Streams, Neo4J, Cassandra or Elasticsearch

  • Background in Master Data Management
