Hourly Rate: £14.94 per hour
Location: Birmingham
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, ad hoc shifts

Search are currently working with a fantastic client based in the Birmingham area who are looking for an individual to join their team as a Workplace Assistant on a temporary ad hoc basis. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a corporate environment and be confident supporting workplace, facilities and front-of-house operations to ensure a smooth and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as the first point of contact, providing a professional welcome to visitors and colleagues.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Set up and maintain meeting rooms, including AV equipment and refreshments.
• Support the coordination of meetings, events and catering requirements.
• Monitor workplace standards, ensuring communal areas remain tidy, stocked and presentable.
• Assist with workplace communications, office initiatives and colleague engagement activities.
• Manage workplace requests, office supplies and general administrative tasks.
• Provide proactive support to ensure the office operates efficiently and delivers an excellent workplace experience.
Requirements
• Proven experience in a Workplace Assistant, Facilities Assistant, Front of House or similar role
• Previous experience working within a corporate environment
• Excellent IT skills, including proficiency across the full Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team
