The Role:


As Nurse Unit Manager, you’ll lead a compassionate, multidisciplinary team in a public healthcare service that provides inpatient, outpatient, community health, and aged care services for the people of a regional town in NSW and surrounding areas. You’ll report to the Director of Nursing and be responsible for overseeing clinical care, staff development, and service excellence.

 

This facility specialises in:

  • Rehabilitation post-hospitalisation
  • Palliative care for terminally ill patients and their families
  • Geriatric evaluation and management, supporting the independence and wellbeing of older adults

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of clinical operations and personal care services
  • Mentor and support RNs, ENs, and care staff
  • Ensure compliance with aged care and health quality standards
  • Drive initiatives in dementia support, palliative, and rehabilitation care
  • Collaborate across departments to deliver patient-centred outcomes

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • Experience in clinical leadership within hospital or aged care settings
  • Passion for high-quality, holistic care
  • Skilled communicator and mentor with team-building experience
  • Confident with compliance, systems, and quality improvement
  • Must be willing to relocate and contribute to regional health
