We are recruiting for an experienced Bar Staff based in Whitby, North Yorkshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the bar in the centre of Whitby. This position is permanent and offers full-time hours working in a rota 5 days over 7, including weekends, evenings and bank holidays. You will be an excellent communicator, with a focus on guest satisfaction and have strong Customer Service experience working in a restaurant/catering industry.
The Company
This independent/bespoke hospitality venue boasts a restaurant, bar and accommodation in the centre of Whitby. They pride themselves on the use of fresh produce, whilst also working with an extensive bar and cocktail menu within a fantastic team environment.
Role
Have Bar experience You must be able to demonstrate exceptional customer service.
Ability to work in a busy fast-paced environment
Dealing with customers, answering any queries.
Ability to handle money, take payments and process orders using our till system
Comply with all Health & Safety, Food Safety and COSHH Requirements
Job Experience:
Bar is experience is essential for this role
Customer Service focused
Cocktail experience would be advantageous but can be trained
Benefits – The role of Bar Person is offering a competitive pay rate of £9 per hour, you will be expected to work 5 out of 7 days and up to 45 hours per week, you would be expected to work evenings, weekends & bank holidays and can take advantage of a share of the tips. Due to the location of the business, it is easily accessible in the centre of town.
