We are currently looking to recruit a DBS Kitchen Porter in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. As the DBS Kitchen Porter, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment through good hygiene. Work within the heart of Scarborough. Looking for flexible hours to work around other commitments, then look no further.
The Company
Well-known local Care Home in the heart of Scarborough, North Yorkshire. Be part of a small friendly team who all pull together and genially have fun while they work.
The Job:
- DBS required due to the nature of the working environment
- Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible.
- Collect and wash up pots and pans.
- Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery.
- Unload food and equipment deliveries.
- Keep the storeroom organised.
- Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised
Job Experience:
- Have previous experience in a Kitchen based environment.
- Confident to work in a hot, humid, busy environment and have an excellent "can do" attitude.
- To be able to work full time with varying shift patterns, including earlies late and weekends.
