Overview
We are seeking a Belt Picker with a valid forklift license to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for separating recyclable non-ferrous materials from conveyor belts and operating a forklift to transport materials within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Sort non-ferrous materials from conveyor belts
- Operate a forklift to transport materials within the facility
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
- Assist with other tasks as needed
Qualifications - Valid forklift license
- Experience as a belt picker or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of non-ferrous materials and recycling processes is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to safety and adherence to protocols
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Day-to-Day - Sort non-ferrous materials from the conveyor belt
- Operate forklift to transport materials to designated areas
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate and collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
