We currently have an opportunity for a Graduate Process Engineer to be based in Great Yarmouth on a Staff basis.

The role:

To join the Operations Team and work across a range Operations Support Contracts. This will include providing the day to day support to operating assets and supporting greenfield pre-start up projects.

Scope of Responsibilities:

The engineer will be expected to work with appropriate guidance on multiple work scopes as a member of an Operations Support team.

Duties will typically include:

  • Maintaining the master sets of critical documentation (P&IDs, PFDs, Line List, Procedures)
  • Creating simple HYSYS simulation models to evaluate operating status.
  • Producing piping hydraulic calculations.
  • Input to technical notes and study reports.
  • Analysis of production performance data.
  • Assistance with site surveys and commissioning activities.
  • Evaluation of performance limits of existing equipment.

Qualifications:

Hold a Bachelor Degree or equivalent in related engineering subject (e.g. Chemical Engineering). Must register as an Associate Member of the IChemE and will be expected to work towards chartered membership as part of the ODE Professional Development Scheme. ODE will provide funding for membership for a recognised institution on the journey to acquire Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or Charted Engineer (CEng) status. Work placements in the oil & gas or petrochemical industries would be an advantage.
