The Role:           

The Contracts and Compliance Assistant will report directly to the Group Contracts and Compliance Manager and will assist in the provision of commercial, contractual and legal support to DORIS GROUP’s global Oil & Gas and Renewables business streams

While Contracts and Procurement and/or Oil and Gas / Renewables experience is preferred, DORIS GROUP considers this a developmental position for the right candidate

Scope of Responsibilities:                      

  • Contract administration in accordance with DORIS GROUP requirements and industry best practice
  • Administration and ongoing performance of due diligence assessments of DORIS GROUPS’s client’s, suppliers and partners
  • Management of DORIS GROUP's contract and compliance databases and all associated files
  • Liaison with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the prompt completion of contract reviews and administration
  • General administrative support, including word processing, formatting and filing
  • Negotiation of subcontractor terms and conditions in concurrence with client requirements and in consultation with the Contracts and Compliance Manager
  • Negotiation of other contract documents including non-disclosure agreements and formal notices in consultation with the Contracts and Compliance Manager
  • Highlighting of potential contractual and commercial risk, opportunities and threats

  • Flexible to travel to client and other DORIS GROUP offices away from base office
  • Full and valid driving licence

Qualifications:  

  • Minimum 3/5 years experience in an office environment
  • MCIPS or working towards preferred but not essential
  • Experience in the Oil and Gas and/or Renewables sector is preferred but not essential
