Senior Infrastructure Engineer – London/Hybrid

Salary £50,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience

We are looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer for a leading global organisation based in London, with much of the role being based from home if candidates prefer home-working. As a Senior IMT infrastructure engineer you will be responsible for customer centric support of onsite physical infrastructure, hosted infrastructure and cloud infrastructure and systems. As well as manage and participate in delivering project work. 

The ideal candidate will have strong technical ability and previous experience in IT Infrastructure role.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

• To provide infrastructure support (Hardware, software, and networking)
• Ensure effective management of cloud infrastructure environment – Azure/ Hosted Virtual serves
• Onsite physical infrastructure management – Sever room/ Network switches etc.
• Plan infrastructure roadmap for internal/external systems
• Provide guidance to 2^nd line support team, on BAU and project work
• Working with project teams to ensure documentation is maintained and up to date.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.

• Effective communication, stakeholder, and supplier management skills

Key Skills required:

• MCSE Certification
• VMware/Hyper-V experience
• Microsoft SQL
• Experience with Azure IaaS/PaaS solutions, SAN and NAS storage
• Knowledge of Active Directory/user group management
• Experience with Meraki firewalls, Dell network switches, Sophos Antivirus
• Able to perform complex troubleshooting
• TCP/IP and Networking Experience
• Full driving licence

Salary:

Our client is offering a salary of £50,000- £65,000 per annum, with a variety of excellent benefits available on offer. Benefits include Private medical care, 30 days Annual leave and company bonus.
