Salary: GBP45000 - GBP60000 per annum


Spencer Ogden are supporting a growing Energy Company who are looking to recruit a Regulatory Analyst, responsible for supporting the Regulatory Affairs Manager to take forward Regulatory Agenda, with particular focus on understanding, anticipating and assessing the impact of the European and GB Network Codes/ legislative developments in order to shape the business.

Key responsibilities:

Monitor regulatory developments and prepare briefing materials and draft consultation responses.

Briefing internal IUK stakeholders on regulatory issues, specifically in line with commercial propositions for the development of new products.

Together with the Regulatory Affairs Manager, maintain and develop the Company's relationship with the various regulatory and government authorities including Ofgem, BEIS and the Belgian Regulator- GREG.

About you:

Degree educated preferably in Economics, Law or a related subject.

Previous experience in the energy industry (gas preferred) with some regulatory exposure and looking to build on previous experience.

Excellent analytical and numeracy skills - able to review, analyse and report with confidence on information of varying complexity

Effective communicator, good at building and developing working relationships.

Drafting and verbal presentation skills and experience of presenting to a variety of stakeholders.

Able and willing to undertake European travel as required for the performance of the job (once it is possible and in line with the company approach to management of Covid-19 pandemic).
