I am currently representing a growing Economic Consultancy, in the search for talented individuals to join their growing advisories in their offices in London, Berlin and Athens.
The successful candidate would support our team of UK and EU market and regulatory specialists in advising regulators and network companies on economic regulatory aspects. The role is for a Senior or Managing Consultant. The ideal profile of the successful candidate should include the following:
o University (Master) degree in economics, accounting, power engineering, or finance;
o 5 to 10 years’ experience in European gas, electricity, or water sectors with a focus on economic regulatory issues (price reviews, regulatory finance, incentive mechanisms, etc);
o Regulatory finance expertise demonstrated through previous practical professional experience in issues related to cost of capital, tariff setting and/or allowed revenues;
o Prior employment with a regulator and/or network company would be considered an advantage;
o Experience in managing and overseeing projects considered an advantage;
o Interest in business development to help grow service offering in the UK and the EU;
o Excellent plain English writing skills and ability to formulate complex economic issues clearly
