Overview and Objectives of the Position

Expand our reach into key industries and create powerful new alliances with respected stakeholders.

This role will be pivotal in creating strong alliances to assist in the promotion of Women & Leadership Australia’s products and services. Focused on laying the foundations for long-term relationships, the role will involve the co-ordination and management of a portfolio of partnerships helping to improve opportunities for female leaders across key Australian industries.

This role will be responsible for:

  1. Creating enduring alliances with industry associations and networks via out-bound calling campaigns
  2. Actively assisting in the promotion of WLA’s exceptional products and services across Australia and NZ
  3. Improving our contact database by researching and compiling new data for associations for the best database accuracy

Reporting to the Director, Sales Operations, this role will work closely with key marketing and sales roles.

Key Accountabilities 

  • Undertake outbound phone and email campaigns to businesses and associations throughout Australia and New Zealand to build awareness around WLA products and services and relevant scholarship opportunities.
  • Undertake research to expand current associations list.
  • Increase number of active association partnerships.
  • Develop relationships with active association partners to increase effectiveness of promotional campaigns.
  • Keep accurate records of program enquiries and enrolments from all active association partners.
  • Provide reporting to key association partners on program uptake from their members.
  • Effectively update and maintain Association partners database.
  • Support outbound sales campaigns as needed.

Key Selection Criteria 

Essential:

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in building partnerships, managing key accounts or in the strategic formation of relationships.

  • At least 3 years’ experience in outbound tele sales or customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including an exceptional telephone manner
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow process to ensure a high level of accuracy and quality control
  • Strong administrative skills and good project and time management skills
  • Professional and respectful manner, confidence in communicating with senior stakeholders
  • A passion for and experience with cultivating strong external relationships and partnerships
  • Motivated, self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Astute commercial intelligence and the creativity and drive to hunt for and uncover new opportunities that benefit WLA's brand and business.

Desirable:

  • Demonstrated experience within the education sector
  • Experience within an organisation that is small-medium, where flexibility and agility is key
  • Experience with managing industry relationship or partnerships.
