Assistant Accountant
Salary: Up to $83K + Super

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Accounting Operations Lead, this role focuses on end-to-end inventory accounting. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records, managing standard costs, preparing reconciliations, and supporting month-end close activities. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and experience in inventory and ERP systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain and update inventory data and costings in Oracle ERP
• Prepare inventory reconciliations and support month-end close
• Run and analyse key inventory and cost reports
• Manage part number creation, transfers, and write-offs
• Monitor physical stock variances and coordinate resolutions with warehouse
• Support cylinder inventory tracking and reporting
• Assist with audits and compliance documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support system improvements

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in inventory or cost accounting
• Strong Excel skills and ERP experience (Oracle, Netsuite preferred)
• High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
• Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
