Accounts Receivable Officer

Dandenong | $70K + Super 

A well-established business is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join their close-knit finance team based in Dandenong.

About the Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing the AR function while supporting the wider finance team. This is a hands-on position suited to someone eager to learn, take initiative, and become a valuable team contributor.

Key responsibilities include:

• Daily bank reconciliations (including overseas bank accounts)
• Raising and sending customer invoices
• Monitoring and maintaining the accounts receivable ledger
• Proactively following up and collecting outstanding payments
• Assisting with broader finance tasks, including exposure to Accounts Payable where required
• Supporting a collaborative team environment and stepping in where needed

About You

This role suits a motivated junior candidate who is looking to build a long-term career in finance.

You will bring:

• Some prior experience in an AR or finance support role (a few months’ experience is sufficient)
• Strong attention to detail, particularly with reconciliations
• A willingness to learn and take initiative
• A team-first attitude with the ability to support across functions
• Good communication skills and confidence in following up outstanding payments

Systems experience:

• Experience with MYOB Greentree is highly regarded, though candidates with other ERP system experience are encouraged to apply
