The Role

A tech start-up in the heart of Bristol are looking for a QA Manager (Manual) to join their development and recently established software testing team. You will get to utilise your current skills in a rapidly growing and disruptive environment although more importantly get to learn / establish your automation skills (.Net, C#, Selenium). This opportuntiy is great for someone who wants to begin to learn and step up into a team lead position and take the next step in their career!

As the QA Manager (Manual), you will have control over the day-to-day planning and running of the testing, working in an agile environment. You will be joining a test team of 5 and will get the opportunity to shape testing processes, collaborate your ideas, challenge the status quo and evaluate the product code as well as create logs. In the long-term, the aim will be for you to train on the job and move over to the Automation side of the business which is an extremely exciting opportunity for a passionate QA Manager ( Manual) to get on board with.

This role is a brilliant opportunity for a QA Manager (Manual) who is confident in primarily manual testing but would love the opportunity to train on the job in the Automation side and long term, move with that side of the business. This is a unique opportunity for you to have an opportunity to make an impact on a team and have creative freedom. Testing experience across web / ios / android applications, post-release and post-implementation testing.

Role Requirements:

• Drive the QA team forward
• Have a strong knowledge of QA processes
• Strong Manual test knowledge
• Develop test plans and strategies
• Post-release and post-implementation testing
• Evaluate product code in line with specifications.
• Execute test cases and analyse the results.
• Manual and automation testing
• Ideally, regression testing experience (this is a bonus)
• AGILE experience
• This role will be majority on site, but there will be some flex for the occasional remote working day.

This business are a business we have worked with for 4+ years and have placed many happy softawre testers with the business. The team place a large emphasis on training and internal progression opportunities. This role is a hybrid role with 2 days in the office when things resume a week.
