Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist

As an integral member of our EHS team, you'll be responsible for maintaining and advancing all Health, Safety, and Sustainability initiatives at our manufacturing site. Your focus will be on ensuring compliance with environmental and occupational health regulations, while actively promoting a culture of safety across the organisation.
Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the health and safety of all employees, customers, contractors, and suppliers on-site.
- Lead daily and weekly safety audits, along with risk assessments as needed.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive contingency plans for emergency situations.
- Collaborate with the SERE leader to establish targets and action plans aligned with sustainability guidelines.
- Monitor safety controls and ensure compliance for all activities, both on-site and off-site, including during Factory Acceptance Tests.
- Oversee the effectiveness of the safety walk process and ensure timely completion of identified actions.
- Support the implementation and tracking of actions related to our Schneider Sustainability Strategy.
- Maintain the management system for Health, Safety, Environment, and Energy.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain accurate reporting for stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- A formal H&S qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent).
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Occupational Health, Safety & Environment.
- Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment is preferred.
