£24,000 - £26,000 per annum dependent on experience
Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm - 37.5 hours per week

Our long established, food manufacturing client based in Daventry are looking to recruit a permanent Technical Assistant.
Technical Assistant Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to the Technical & Quality Manager
- Liaising with customers in regards to the completion of customer questionnaires, specifications and providing product specific information
- Accurate documentation and record keeping for third party audits, BRC, QMS, HACCP,TACCP, VACCP
- Audit the GMP, HACCP, quality and hygiene systems
- In-house quality analysis on raw materials & finished products within the on-site test laboratory
- Sample preparation
Technical Assistant Requirements:
- Experience working in a Technical or Quality role ideally within the food industry
- HACCP knowledge and training desirable
- Experience with traceability and specifications
- Experience in Quality systems and auditing
- A degree or equivalent in a food related subject
- Computer literate in Word, EXCEL, Powerpoint, Internet and Email
- Attention to detail is essential
