Connect Appointments is recruiting Parcel Sorters to join an established parcel distribution business based in Newbridge on a temporary ongoing basis.

What's on offer?

• Ongoing temporary position
• Your choice of nights or backs
  
  • Nights: Working 5 days out of 7, from 4am to 12:30pm
  • Backs: Working 5 days out of 7, from 3pm to finish
• Paid weekly at £12.71 per hour, increasing to £15.01 after probationary period
• Full training provided

As a Parcel Sorter, your duties will include:

• Loading and unloading delivery vans accurately and efficiently
• Picking and transporting customer orders within the warehouse
• Ensuring all loaded and unloaded items match relevant paperwork
• Reporting any damaged or missing items to supervisors
• Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse environment

To be considered as a Parcel Sorter, you will need:

• Good physical fitness due to the manual nature of the role
• Previous experience in a warehouse or fast-paced environment is advantageous — full training provided
• Strong team working skills and the ability to work effectively under limited supervision
