X10 Head Chef – Stafford (ST17 4JX)

Pay Rate: up to £20.17p/h inc. hol. pay
Contract: 6 Months Contract with the view of being extended

Working Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 6.30am till 3pm

PPM Recruitment is currently recruiting for 10 experienced Head Chefs to join a busy catering operation in Stafford.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced chefs with strong kitchen management skills who can lead a team, maintain high food standards and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of a professional kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily running of the kitchen, ensuring food is prepared and served to a high standard.

• Lead, supervise and motivate kitchen staff.

• Prepare and oversee the preparation of meals, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.

• Manage stock levels, food ordering and portion control.

• Monitor food costs and minimise waste.

• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health and safety regulations.

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment.

• Ensure meals are prepared and served within required timeframes.

• Support the training and development of kitchen team members.

• Follow all site procedures and catering standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Head Chef or in a senior chef position.

• Strong leadership and kitchen management skills.

• Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety procedures.

• Ability to work effectively in a busy catering environment.

• Good organisational and communication skills.

• A reliable, professional and flexible approach to work.

• Relevant food hygiene qualifications are desirable.
