Stafforce are recruiting FLAVOURIST for our client, an employer of choice, Tayto Ltd, in Scunthorpe DN16 1TT. Tayto is a large family-owned business which manufactures Golden Wonder products as well as crisps and snacks for major supermarkets. Due to development and growth, Tayto are looking specifically for a FLAVOURIST to work in the manufacturing department.

As a flavourist, you will operate the flavour applicators safely, maintaining efficiency, quality assurance, and quality testing and data analysis.

Pay: £13.50 per hour

Shift Pattern: Rotating Day shift (6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm)

Key Responsibilities as a Flavourist

·        Operate the flavour applicators to give coverage within specification

·        Ensure correct flavours are used, check batch codes

·        Carry out Q.A checks

·        Complete all necessary documentation

·        Carry out flavour changes, efficiently, when required to minimise downtime

·        Clean applicators correctly to ensure no cross contamination of flavours

·        When filling applicators ensure no foreign objects enter the product stream

·        During the end of production clean down strip down applicator, clean to the required standard and rebuild correctly

·        Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure the work area is always clean and tidy

·        Monitor flavour applicators and report any faults to the appropriate person

Skills for Flavourist

·        Proven experience in a food production environment

·        Understanding of production procedures.
