About

This organisation is undertaking a major uplift of its Microsoft 365 environment, focused on strengthening governance, improving content management, and enabling secure, scalable collaboration.

The current landscape is fragmented, with inconsistent processes and legacy platforms limiting efficiency, compliance, and the ability to adopt emerging capabilities such as GenAI. This program is designed to modernise the environment through clear governance frameworks, streamlined content management practices, and enhanced information security controls.

The role will play a key part in shaping how information is managed, accessed, and protected across the business, supporting both immediate operational improvements and long-term scalability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business analysis activities across a Microsoft 365 governance and content management uplift program
  • Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders to gather, challenge, and refine requirements
  • Capture current (“as is”) processes and design future (“to be”) states aligned to best practice
  • Translate business needs into clear, structured requirements and supporting artefacts
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardisation, and automation
  • Support the development of governance frameworks, information architecture, and content management models
  • Contribute to business case development, benefits identification, and value realisation tracking
  • Work closely with delivery teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented effectively
  • Support project lifecycle activities including planning, delivery, and operational handover

Criteria

  • Strong core Business Analysis capability, including requirements elicitation, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience working within complex IT environments, ideally on enterprise-wide transformation initiatives
  • Proven ability to facilitate workshops and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies and identifying inefficiencies
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem (e.g. SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform)
  • Knowledge of information management practices, including governance, data classification, and retention
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations relating to data and information management
  • Ability to operate across both strategic and hands-on delivery activities

Why Apply

  • Opportunity to contribute to a high-impact, enterprise-wide transformation program
  • Work on modernising collaboration and information management practices at scale
  • Exposure to governance, security, and emerging technologies including GenAI readiness
  • Engage with a broad range of stakeholders across business and technology
  • Join a collaborative environment that values initiative, accountability, and continuous improvement
