We are partnering with an organisation seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the uplift of project delivery capability and lead a range of business and technology initiatives. This role will play a key part in helping shape project governance and demand management practices, while also delivering projects end-to-end within a developing delivery environment.

This opportunity would suit a hands-on Project Manager who is comfortable working in a less structured environment, can build processes where needed and has the ability to engage confidently with both technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in defining and implementing demand management frameworks across the organisation
  • Support the development and uplift of project delivery frameworks, governance processes, and delivery standards
  • Develop project briefs, delivery plans, timelines, and key project documentation
  • Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery outcomes are achieved within agreed timelines
  • Build, maintain, and track project plans within Jira in a predominantly waterfall delivery environment
  • Coordinate stakeholders across business and technology teams to ensure alignment and delivery progress
  • Provide project reporting, risk management, and governance support
  • Drive accountability across stakeholders and manage upwards where required
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery practices

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering projects end-to-end
  • Experience working across project governance, delivery frameworks, or PMO uplift initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders and hold teams accountable
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage across both business and technical teams
  • Experience working within less structured or evolving delivery environments
  • Previous experience using Jira for project planning and tracking
  • Jira administration experience would be highly regarded
  • Exposure to technology projects, particularly IT infrastructure delivery, would be beneficial
  • Ability to work across multiple priorities and operate autonomously

Why Apply?

  • Opportunity to play a key role in shaping project delivery capability and governance frameworks
  • Broad end-to-end project ownership across business and technology initiatives
  • Collaborative environment with exposure to senior stakeholders
  • Opportunity to join a growing and evolving delivery function where you can make a genuine impact
  • Flexible and hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys building structure and driving outcomes
