About
Our client is looking Senior Business Analyst / Solution Designer to join a small, high-impact team supporting a recently delivered enterprise platform. Following an initial go-live, the environment is now focused on stabilisation, uplift, and continuous improvement, with a growing backlog of defects and a pipeline of enhancements.
This role will sit at the centre of delivery - working across business stakeholders, internal teams, and external vendors to bring structure, clarity, and direction. You’ll need to be comfortable navigating ambiguity, cutting through noise, and guiding conversations to ensure outcomes are aligned and achievable.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritise a pipeline of defects and enhancements in a live environment
- Work closely with business stakeholders to capture, refine, and document requirements
- Translate business needs into scalable, maintainable platform solutions
- Partner with vendors to align on solution design, delivery approach, and estimates
- Guide discussions between business and technical teams to drive clarity and outcomes
- Produce high-quality documentation including requirements, user stories, and solution designs
- Support release governance, including UAT oversight and production alignment
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation and platform improvement
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst or Solution Designer in a technical delivery environment
- Strong experience managing post go-live pipelines (defects and enhancements)
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including App Engine and Flow Designer
- Strong solution design capability, with an understanding of extensibility, maintainability, and technical debt
- Experience in release governance, UAT coordination, and production readiness
- Ability to translate business outcomes into platform capabilities
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills across business and technical teams
- Experience working with third-party vendors and guiding delivery conversations
- Solid documentation capability across requirements and solution artefacts
- Experience in industrial, mining, or utilities environments is advantageous
Why Apply?
- Join a small, collaborative team with high visibility across the business
- Immediate impact in a live, evolving platform environment
- Opportunity to shape how enhancements and defects are delivered post go-live
- Strong stakeholder engagement and ownership of outcomes
- Fast, straightforward interview process
