Senior Change Analyst – Contract - Data Governance & Risk Program

Job Title: Senior Change Analyst
Location: Melbourne (2 days per week onsite)
Contract Length: 6 months initially
Day Rate: $850 per day inc super

About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Change Analyst to join a large-scale Data Governance & Risk transformation program. This role will be instrumental in shaping and delivering change outcomes across complex business, process, data, and technology initiatives.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders, SMEs, and delivery teams to assess impacts, drive readiness, coordinate change activity across multiple streams, and ensure successful adoption of new ways of working. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can operate autonomously, influence stakeholders, and lead change in a fast-paced program environment.

Requirements

• Lead end-to-end change impact assessments across business, process, data, and technology domains
• Develop and execute change strategies aligned to broader program objectives
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams
• Build trusted relationships across business units, technical teams, and leadership groups
• Coordinate change activity across multiple workstreams to ensure consistency of messaging and delivery
• Deliver business readiness assessments and implementation plans
• Produce high-quality change artefacts including communications, training materials, stakeholder plans, and impact assessments
• Support training design, capability uplift, transition to BAU, and go-live readiness
• Track adoption outcomes and support post-implementation reviews
• Identify and manage change risks, issues, and dependencies

Selection Criteria

• Strong experience as a Senior Change Analyst, Change Lead, or similar role within large transformation programs
• Proven ability to independently deliver impact assessments, readiness activities, and stakeholder engagement strategies
• Experience working across data, risk, regulatory, or technology-focused programs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving capability
• Experience translating technical change into clear business impacts and actions
• Exposure to Data Governance, Data Risk, Data Quality, or Data Strategy programs highly regarded
• Understanding of data governance frameworks, data management principles, or enterprise data tools advantageous
• Change qualifications such as Prosci highly regarded
