EXPERIENCED WELDERS


Labourpower Recruitment Services is currently seeking experienced Welders for ongoing casual assignments with several of our clients based in the Newcastle area.

These roles offer full-time hours (38 hours per week, Monday to Friday) and the opportunity for long-term employment for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• MIG and/or TIG welding (must be able to pass a weld test)
• Steel fabrication, cutting, shaping, and repair work
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans
• General labouring and assisting other trades when required

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a 2nd class Welder

• Experience working within a workshop environment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Reliable, punctual, and physically fit for hands-on work
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Selected candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment process including, fitness assessment, drug and alcohol screen, and you will be required to pass a welding test prior to starting.
