They are now seeking for a CIO to lead the technology strategy and drive digital transformation pillars.

About the role

As a CTO, you will be responsible for overseeing all technological aspects of the bank, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure banking infrastructure. This role requires a strategic leader with deep expertise in fintech, digital banking platforms, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, optimize operational efficiency, and ensure the bank remains at the forefront of digital financial services. You will also define and execute the bank’s technology vision, roadmap, and innovation strategy while leading the development and deployment of scalable, high-performance digital banking platforms. Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement within the tech team. Collaborate with executives, regulators, and partners to align technology with business goals. Manage relationships with fintech vendors, payment processors, and cybersecurity firms.

The successful applicant

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field with 15+ years of experience required
  • Proven ability to anticipate customer needs and future, emerging trends and to articulate a vision and strategy that motivate others to action
  • Leading Change - A natural ‘change agent’ that can identify what is needed to drive technology success and is not afraid to implement
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build strong and collaborative relationships with diverse and demanding internal and external customers
  • Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of negotiating contracts, overseeing third-party integrations, and ensuring seamless customer support.
  • Expertise in modern tech stacks and architectural best practices, with the ability to navigate scalability, security, and regulatory constraints in banking systems.
  • Good command in Chinese and English
