GENERAL MANAGER – Residential Aged Care - South West

The Client:
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced General Manager with a Clinical background to join a leading Aged Care provider who are values and purpose driven. This role requires an experienced leader who with support from management will deliver excellence through day to day operational management of this beautifully appointed facility.  

 Key responsibilities :

  • Day to day operational management of the facility
  • Ensure residents experience high quality support, care and services
  • Coach and support direct reports adhering to values of the organisation
  • Lead, manage and motivate staff to continue to achieve high standards
  • Ensure operational KPIs and maintain standards of care delivery
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements
  • Actively manage ACFI in line with financial guidelines
  • Strategically and collaboratively ensure accountability within the team to meet accreditation standards

 To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience as a General Manager working within Residential Aged Care
  • Understanding of day to day operational management of a facility
  • Experience in financial management, budgeting, human and asset management
  • Demonstrated leadership and management and commercial acumen skills
  • Knowledge of ACFI and the Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Change implementation skills
  • Current AHPRA registration
