CLINICAL NURSE MANAGER

·         $115,000 + Super + $16K Salary Packaging + Parking

Our Client:

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Nurse Manager to join an outstanding residential aged care organisation located SOUTH OF THE RIVER.  You will form part of the senior management team and work closely with the Facility Manager.  Our client has an excellent reputation for delivering exceptional care and service to their residents in a positive and compassionate way. While at the same time they provide an excellent support structure, learning, development, culture, teamwork and clinical care to their staff which ensures the best outcomes for their residents in a positive healthy way.

The Exciting Opportunity:

  • Liaises and reports to the Facility Manager for daily operational matters
  • Ensures care plans are completed and reviewed on time
  • Overseeing clinical staff on site and ensuring care excellence
  • Ensures effective palliative care, wound care and chronic disease management
  • Communicating with families, hospitals, external medical specialists
  • Involvement in clinical meetings, clinical reporting and family conferences
  • Participate in Clinical Audits / Accreditation and Clinical Governance


The Successful Candidate
:

  • Current AHPRA Registered Nurse registration with Bachelor of Nursing
  • Previous experience working within the Aged Care setting
  • Advanced clinical skills and experience in supervising staff in the clinical and care environment
  • Sound clinical judgement, skills and knowledge with senior level nurse and management experience
  • Knowledge in all aspects of clinical care and Aged Care Standards
  • Sound understanding of ACFI and documentation
  • Experience in provision of leadership and education to care staff
  • Good communications skills including written and verbal
  • Excellent time management with a systematic approach to prioritising duties
  • Ability to problem solve and work with professional team to solve complex resident care concerns
  • Compassionate, dedicated and caring nature with the ability to build strong rapport with residents and staff
  • Current National Police Clearance and
  • Current COVID and Flu vaccinations
