The Client:
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced General Manager to join a leading Aged Care provider who are values and purpose driven. This role requires an experienced leader who with support from management will deliver excellence through day to day operational management of this beautifully appointed facility.  

Reporting to the Regional General Manager you will be responsible for the management and leadership of the facility.

 Key responsibilities:

  • Day to day operational management of the facility
  • Ensure residents experience high quality support, care and services
  • Drive optimal business outcomes and a culture of safety
  • Coach and support direct reports adhering to values of the organisation
  • Lead, manage and motivate staff to continue to achieve high standards
  • Ensure operational KPIs and maintain standards of care delivery
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements
  • Strategically and collaboratively ensure accountability within the team to meet accreditation standards

 To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience as a General Manager working within the health and/or aged care sector
  • Understanding of day to day operational management of a facility
  • Experience in financial management, budgeting, human and asset management
  • Demonstrated leadership and management and commercial acumen skills
  • Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic workforce planning
  • Hands-on approach with a focus on leadership and customer service
  • Ability to implement change to achieve results and lead service assessment, planning and implementation
