Role: Mobile Electrician
Location: North Lanarkshire, ML4 
Contract: 3 Month contract (Potential Extension)
Pay Rate: £20.00 per hour PAYE
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

Vehicle: Company van and fuel card provided, with option to take the vehicle home

About the Role

We are looking for a qualified Mobile Electrician to join their team, covering a portfolio of 17 schools across North Lanarkshire. You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, fault finding and general electrical maintenance across multiple sites. The role requires someone who can work independently, provide a professional service and respond effectively to electrical faults and breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across multiple school sites.
• Complete reactive electrical repairs and attend breakdowns.
• Diagnose electrical faults and carry out appropriate remedial works.
• Maintain and repair electrical systems and installations.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with current electrical regulations and health & safety requirements.
• Complete maintenance records, job sheets and reports accurately.
• Liaise professionally with school staff, site representatives and end users.
• Identify potential issues and report any additional works required.
• Work independently while managing multiple sites and priorities.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer service.

Essential Requirements

• Fully qualified Electrician.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations – essential.
• Previous experience in Facilities Management, Building Services or Electrical Maintenance.
• Experience carrying out both PPM and reactive maintenance.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently across multiple locations.
