Role: Mobile Technical Operative – Electrical
Location: Various sites across London
Contract : 3 Months Contract (With potential for permanent opportunities)

About the Rolee

We are looking for Mobile Technical Operatives – Electrical to support electrical maintenance services across a number of sites in London. You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance, fault finding and repairs, while ensuring all work is completed safely and to the required standards.

Main Duties

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment.
  • Respond to reactive maintenance and electrical breakdowns.
  • Fault find, diagnose and repair electrical issues.
  • Complete electrical testing, inspections and remedial works.
  • Ensure all work complies with BS7671 / 18th Edition.
  • Complete maintenance records and update the CAFM system accurately.
  • Prepare parts lists and provide estimated timescales for remedial works.
  • Complete Risk Assessments and Method Statements before carrying out work.
  • Support and supervise subcontractors when required.
  • Assist with electrical shutdowns and switching schedules.
  • Work safely and follow all Company health & safety and SHEQ procedures.
  • Use permits to work where required.
  • Provide emergency and out-of-hours support as part of the maintenance rota.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues and subcontractors.
  • Report any dangerous situations, accidents or near misses immediately.

 

Essential Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical or equivalent electrical qualification.
  • 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Previous experience in electrical maintenance / building services.
  • Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • SC Clearance is preferred.

Desirable

  • IPAF
  • PLASMA
  • Previous experience working in FM / building maintenance.
  • Experience with CAFM systems such as TotalMobile.
  • Experience supervising subcontractors.
  • LVCP / LVAP / HVAP experience.
